So I just spent the last couple of hours looking up some things online for my mom. She's been down in Baton Rouge this week volunteering at a Red Cross shelter. (She's a midwife.) Apparently she had heard some rumors of organizations that were conducting free flights for evacuees to other parts of the country. She just has her cell phone and no internet access at all. So I told her to call me any time and I'd research for her.

Unfortunately, it's hard to get any info about this at all. *sigh* But I managed to find a few numbers for her to call tomorrow morning, so that's good.
