The bag turned out so cute once it's felted.

Too cute. Although the colors in the previous post are a little closer to reality. Oh and my husband made the button for me. He's working on a batch of them to take over to the LYS to sell.

Still no trace of my knitting journal/design notebook thingy. *sigh* Looks like I will be writing the pattern from memory after all. With my luck, I'll probably find it the day after my last class. I'm not that worried or upset about it anymore. I'm pretty confident that I can recreate it accurately. I've knit this bag twice now and it's deceptively simple. Well, if you know entrelac, that is.

[info]cameellie gave me a great idea for self-publishing this pattern tonight. So if you're interested in the bag's design...stay tuned for how to get your own copy of the pattern. And you don't have to take the class!

Oh, I am so frustrated right now. I can't find my knitting journal anywhere. I have a small little black spiral notebook with all sorts of notations about various projects. Including my pattern for the entrelac bag that I'm supposed to be teaching at the LYS this fall. I have looked in all of the likely places and a great deal of the unlikely places that it could be. I'm not really sure how I'm going to recreate this pattern but I suppose it's what I'll have to do.

How upsetting! I mean, there's probably a dozen or so of original patterns that I have sketched out in that book and it's just GONE GONE GONE. I can't think for the life of me where it might be.

It's ironic that I knit this bag a second time because I didn't write down how I did it the first time. And now the record of it is gone. *sigh* Anyway, I just threw the second version in the washing machine to felt it and I suppose I'll just try and write down the pattern by memory this time. I really don't feel like knitting a third one right now.

If you're curious, here's what it looks like before felting:

Guess I'll go write a pattern and class plan now...
